Sign makers for Midleton.
Midleton's Main Street is a traditional, mostly locally owned shopping street, and the town also has a growing ring of business parks. Both need very different signs.

On Main Street a sign has to sit well on an older building and hold its own on a busy street. Painted or wrapped fascias with built-up letters, lit where the business trades late, are the usual answer.
Main Street has flooded more than once in recent years. For ground-floor signs and window graphics here, we lean towards aluminium, stainless fixings and sealed LED components that cope with a wet day better than timber or MDF.
At the business parks, signs are seen from cars, not footpaths, so the lettering gets bigger and simpler, often with a lit panel at the entrance.

Planning permission
Midleton is in the Cork County Council area. Older buildings on Main Street may be protected structures, where no sign is exempt, so we check the record of protected structures before we design. Our planning guide explains the limits.
Questions from Midleton
What materials suit a Midleton shopfront that might flood?
Aluminium composite fascias, aluminium or stainless letters, stainless fixings and sealed outdoor-rated LEDs. We avoid timber and MDF at low level.
Do you make signs for business park units in Midleton?
Yes. Large built-up or flat-cut letters on the facade, and lit or printed entrance signs, all made in our workshop.
How far is Midleton from your workshop?
About 33 km, roughly half an hour by road, so a site visit and a fitting day are both easy to arrange.
Have you made signs in Midleton before?
The finished jobs on this site are in Cork city, including Phonetastic, Dixy Chicken, Speedo, Sky Smoke 1 and Smoke City. A job in Midleton runs the same way: we measure and photograph the building, send a mock-up and a written quote, then make the sign in Ballinora and fit it ourselves.
