Sign makers for Carrigaline.

Main Street is a mix of food, retail and services, many of them family businesses, which is the kind of work we know best. A full shopfront like our Speedo job in Cork, with a fascia, letters and window graphics designed together, suits a lot of the units here.

Out at the industrial estate the job is different: big, simple lettering on a unit facade, signs at the gate and printed panels that need to last in all weather. We cut, print and fabricate all of it in the same workshop, so the shopfront and the unit can match.

Carrigaline stayed in the county when the city boundary moved in 2019, so it is a County Council job, unlike Douglas just up the road.

Planning permission

Carrigaline is in the Cork County Council area. The national exemption limits are the same as in the city, so most built-up fascia letters still need permission. Our planning guide explains the limits.
