The centre is small and walkable, with Main Street, New Street, Castle Street and Bridge Street meeting at the Market Square. Shopfronts are mostly in older buildings, so the sign has to fit the proportions of the facade.
With the bypass taking through traffic away from the centre, the people who see your sign are mostly locals on foot. Clear, well-made letters and a projecting sign do more here than size.
We are on the same side of the city as Macroom, so getting to you for a visit and a fitting day is straightforward.

Planning permission
Macroom is in the Cork County Council area. Older buildings around the Square may be protected structures, so we check before designing. Our planning guide explains the limits.
Questions from Macroom
What sign suits an older shopfront in Macroom?
One designed around the building: a fascia in proportion with the frontage, built-up or painted letters and, often, a small projecting sign.
Do you fit signs in Macroom?
Yes. It is about half an hour from our workshop and our own team fits every sign.
Can you remove the old sign?
Yes. We take down and dispose of the old sign and make good the fascia before fitting the new one.
Have you made signs in Macroom before?
The finished jobs on this site are in Cork city, including Phonetastic, Dixy Chicken, Speedo, Sky Smoke 1 and Smoke City. A job in Macroom runs the same way: we measure and photograph the building, send a mock-up and a written quote, then make the sign in Ballinora and fit it ourselves.
